Default Rabbit - Free to a good home

We need to find a good home for Jasper, our 2 year old rabbit, because we are planning on moving back to NS in the next few months and aren't able to take him with us. He's had the good life with us and would hope someone else would be able to provide him with the same. He doesn't like being caged up and would prefer to have some space to hop around. He prefers not to be picked up but loves when someone sits by him and rubs his head and back. He likes lettuce, carrots, timothy hay, pellets and raisins. He is fixed so no need to worry about that. For toys he likes his cardboard box house and paper towel rolls. He is trained to do his business on his shavings. He is not fond of other pets. If you feel you can give our little Jasper a good home please let me know.

I know you're kidding amd hopefully the thread creator is light hearted because it was probably a really tough decision to give up their pet.

I gotta call bad form on this joke..

Wow this deserves a blue box.

In an actually related note, I hope the rabbit finds a good home, he looks like a good pet!

I hope the bunny finds a good home! He looks so soft and cuddly. He has the same name as my doggy. Hehe.

Nice rabbit, would pick him up in a heart beat if I was allowed pets in my apartment.

Okay, I seriously laughed out loud there.
Then Spitfire came and reminded me that FunkMasterFlame and I are basically going to hell. I wasnt thinking of this as being someone's pet, and how hard it must be to give one away.
I'm holding off for a free monkey though.

I was thinking the same joke when I saw the thread, then I saw the pic of the bunny and felt bad for even thinking of it. I hope Jasper finds a loving home. I'd love to have him, but being he doesn't like other pets and that my dog loves to chase bunnies, I don't think it would be a good fit.

Hope Jasper finds a good home!

Rabbit pee is the most putrid thing I have ever smelled.

Especially when they do that marking the territory thing. Swing around in the air and pee at the same time, thus spraying a nice 360 degree pee circle in the middle of your carpet. Ah good times.

But look how cute it is!

^^

Neither of my rabbits have ever done that. And with Jasper being fixed; one of the reasons to fix males is to control their urge to mark their territory.

Like Ken said, since he's fixed he doesn't go around marking his territory.

That is the cutest rabbit I have ever seen, but I have a fear of animals, they cant talk to me and it scares me because I dont know what they are thinking, why can't it be like the cartoons?
