My fellow Albertans. As a young boy, I dreamed of being a baseball, but
tonight I say, we must move forward, not backward, upward not forward,
and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom.

Yah, I plan to vote tomorrow. I too remain undecided despite the strong current of young Dinning supporters in my office right now. Something's pulling me towards Morton though. Perhaps it's my rural upbringing or the fact that I actually met the man and had a normal conversation prior to him leaving the UofC.

In any event, I bet it goes to a second vote.

My wife and I are voting. I'm leaning towards Dinning and she's leaning towards Stelmach. We have a bit more reading to do before making our final decisions.

I am stuck between Morton and Stelmach. I like all of Mortons ideas....he is just a little far right for my liking. Maybe the rest of the party will keep him under control.

As for Dinning, I think that guy is to big business and has to many connections through many industries. Lots of room to be dishing out favours.

It makes no difference which one of us you vote for. Either way, your province is doomed. DOOMED!

Seriously, I hope you guys don't elect Morton. Anyone else is fine.

I'll vote (as long as I can get to the voting center, I'm busy from 1pm on, and my cars broken)
I think I'll vote for whoever will build a giant dome over alberta to keep this cold out.
That being said, I'm not entirly fond of any candidate really, those whose fiscal policies I like seem a bit too socially conservitive for my tastes (libertatian am I)

That's your choice....but here is a chance for 50,000 people to decide who the next premier is going to be.

i have spent alot of time in the last few days looking at all the candidates and nothing really stands out for me..

none of them really have a solid platform on health care (which i care most about as i am an optometrist)....

Dinning i like due to his promised Tax breaks to professionals under 30... but he is pretty intight with big oil..

I have never liked Oberg's goofy look

Stelmach is decent for me because he seems to have the most specifics about what he is going to do....

Dinning vs. Stelmach i think...

I disagree with Dinnings tax cuts for those under 30....even tho I am under 30. Almost all people make most of their money later in life after they have established themselves. I would rather have a reduced general tax decrease for all rather then for people who are spending have the decade in school.

I just got a phone call from Dinning. Well, it was a recording. He was earnestly imploring me to get to the polls. He told me to bring my membership or I can buy one at the door. He also wants me to bring my family. Oh yeah, and they'll give me a ride. Think they'd take me to the liquor store after?

How much does a membership cost?

Morton is getting my vote. His views most closely match mine.

Heck, proposing to opt out of the CPP is reason enough to vote for him. I curse the CPP every two weeks; I get really angry when I think about what a poor return of investment it really is. It is awful.

Looking at the rest of his platform, it seems he also advocates more provincial power, and I am all for that too.

This is precisly why I plan to vote for Morton. I am a big advocate of more provincial power.
