Default Mass Shooting at Montreal College

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servl.../National/home

CTV and CBC saying 4 people critically injured. Several others seriously hurt and at least one gunman was shot - and from the pictures on TV it looked like one person killed as the police were covering a body with a tarp - incredibly grizzly as there was a huge blood splatter and streak across the road to where the body lay - presumably, it was one of the gunman

Supposedly most of the students are evacuated but there are still a couple of floors occupied; the gunmen are holed up in a cafeteria or atrium or some such thing.

Incredibly sad. Hope the innocent victims pull through.

They've shut down the green line on the metro as well (which is the closest line to Dawson) ... wonder if they were worried about them escaping on the metro or something.

Reports of 4 dead, possibly including 2 of the suspected 4 shooters, and 16 injured.

A lone gunman is scary enough.

To think this diabolical act could be part of an organized effort is scarier.

Sad to hear. It'll be interesting to hear the actual story once everything settles down as I keep hearing different stories.

Police scanners indicated that a gunman might still be in the school, but television reports showed police surrounding other buildings in the neighbourhood. According to reports, witnesses saw a man with mohwak dressed in military fatigues take a rifle from the trunk of his car, enter the college and begin shooting.

http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/natio...ts-dawson.html

An eyewitness told CBC News she was sitting outside Dawson College when she saw a tall, white man wearing a long black trench coat walk down the street with a large gun. He was with a number of other people, she said.

The man, who the witness described as about 19 and wearing studs and piercings, fired on several people in the area, she said. The woman said she ran and hid in the bushes as debris from the gunfire scattered around her. She ran again until a woman let her inside her apartment.

lost for words. This is simply disgusting. My thoughts go out to everyone in Montreal right now, and I hope the final results of this act are not in large numbers. When will we learn?

Dawson College math teacher murdered by his son.

My thoughts go out to the families.

CNN reports 4 dead (2 of those being shooters, one shooter commited suicide the other was killed by police) and 16 injured. However this number will sadly probablly be much higher due to there still being students in the building

I keep hoping to hear "and a single shot from the police sniper ended this". What kind of mental case goes into a school and starts shooting innocent people?
