Default March 9 with four games.

The Monday OOT has one more game than originally scheduled due
to a make up of the Kings-BJs game. A massive snowstorm had hit
the Columbus, Ohio area back on Jan. 26. That is why there is a rare
non holiday weekday matinee. There are a pair of inter conference
games and a pair of intra division games, one from the Central and
one from the Metropolitan.

Early start for LA and Columbus, 2-1 LA so far, with new acquisitions providing all three goals - Laughton and Panarin for LA, Garland for Columbus

The Kings had a 2-0 lead and then the BJs scored three straight goals to take a 3-2 lead. Garland has scored twice. Kopitar tied it up soon after, 3-3 after forty minutes in this entertaining game. The shots are 23-20 in favour of the BJs.

Terrific third period in Columbus. The Kings took the lead midway through the third period. Laughton took a penalty later on and the BJs tied on the power play with under two minutes left in regulation time. Marchenko scored the tying goal.

Kings working through another one of their toughest remaining opponents. I keep wanting to hope they will turn things on a bit (though I don't want a EDM 2 LAK3 again believe me)

also bummer that NYR is playing tonight and they too will be on a B2B tomorrow for the tank summit

the average point percentage of the Kings remaining opponents is .507, the Leafs are .508 this season (and are awful)

San Jose is 29th in remaining strength of schedule at .536, L.A. dead last. And they're both close behind the Oilers, whose SOS is right in the middle at .566.

I'm doing finger exercises to warm up so I can rub my hands in glee.

Rangers up 3-0 on the Flyers. The odds probably still favour a PHI win.

The curse of the Flyers is that their goalies keep turning into pumpkins. With those orange uniforms, who can blame them?

It may be that this is one of those nights in the Flyers' net, and no matter how many goals they score, their goalie(s) will find a way to give up more.

EDIT: Three goals on 12 shots in the first period. Those are Oiler numbers.

Yep, it's definitely the orange uniforms that are responsible!

The Mammoth open the scoring midway through the first period.
