On the Jackets - they've seen Kent Johnson tumble this year (near a PPG game last year, sub-.5 PPG this year). I could see a GM looking at players and thinking they're underperforming, and that a new coach is needed to get them back on track.
To different degrees, they've got Sillinger, Johnson, and Fantilli all underperforming. If Bowness can get them going, the team should have a much stronger 2nd half.

Evasion is a pretty intense hard nosed type. Like a Daryl Sutter with some serious rage issues. Whereas Sutter just seemed to have contempt for the media. I can sort of see how on a team with younger guys that style won't get results.
