Interesting to rush to extend a 35 year old goalie that is 2-2 to start the year with a .830 save % and 5.13 GAA. Meanwhile Allen is 5-1 with a .906 and 2.39 GAA, so its clearly not the team.

Combined they are still not paying much ok goaltending
This is a team that struggled to get goaltending
Not surprised they want to keep that solid

I really like to trash Trelivng whenever I can but it sure does look like a lot of his free agent moves in the 20’s have worked out quite well for the Flames. Tanev, Markstrom, Coleman, and Kadri all were strong signings that will or have brought back the flames assets in trade.
