That's what, 7 goals in the last 5 games. That is just laughable. We can barely score clean goals too.

Not to be pessimistic or anything, but I'm beginning to think this team isn't an absolute lock for the Stanley Cup this year.

I'll be honest, I'm very excited.

There is no way this organization can misinterpret the start to this season. Trade the vets, play the young guys, draft high in 2026 and 2027, and open the new arena with a team that I would actually want to pay money to see live.

Ya I’m good with this. Team isn’t good, but not this bad. They will get better as the season goes but this forces them to pick a lane. Vets will be easier to convince to trade, easier for coaches to play the young guys as mistakes are easier to forgive.

This is what lots of us wanted, so nothing to be upset about.

2 years of this, stock up with top tier prospects (hopefully 1 generational!) and then we can bounce back.


I’m happy with this start to the season. This is what the team badly needs to do.
