Default Ostriches

https://www.wormsandgermsblog.com/20...WstM82YQzJ6R-A

Apparently Dr. Oz is willing to accept the ostriches, not that they'd ever be allowed to cross the border, but I think we should take him up on his offer and deliver the 300+ birds with avian flu to his house or farm or wherever he's willing to put them up.

Oh. I opened this thread thinking we'd have to exterminate them like the Bears and Dogs and like when the Aussies tried with the Emus....they lost that little tussle.

I wasn't aware that the Ostriches were a problem. They're ornery, but fine if you leave them alone.

Perhaps they are delicious?

Five posts in, and I can't tell who wants to bathe in the blood of their avian victims, and who wants to make sweet sweet love to these fluffy dinosaurs. This should be a good thread.

The birds don't have avian flu, the birds that did have it are dead. There is no reason to destroy the remaining ostriches.

The problem with biological warfare is the risk of blowback. I say we roast them. With gravy and potatoes.

I had it once - it was red meat like beef, and very good.

They survived AI while about 20% of the herd didn’t, the living ones are likely carriers which can mutate the strain. Mutated strains have been detected all over North America in the recent months. This has drug on for far too long, these bird should’ve been destroyed back in December. The far right/ anti government regulars (Rebel Media etc..) are running with this story like the ostriches are a bunch of truckers.

The problem is the precedent this may set and how it will impact Canada's ability to control avian influenza. Whether the remaining birds are infected, were infected or never infected is irrelevant.

So what you're insinuating is that this 'so called Doctor' Oz is trying to hoard this sweet, sweet Ostrich meat all for himself!

Also, there has been legit doxing of CFIA staff and threats against them. Hopefully there will be arrests made.

It is every 70 years, or 700 years, that the magnetic poles shift?

If I go out there, will there be older confused hippies rubbing shoulders with Maga? I'm guessing that the dividing line would be that the hippies would want the birds tested before the cull to certify that they are carriers, and the Maga believe that the birds bodies must be conserved for Christ, or something?

The cullers sound like bureaucratic lifers that refuse to be told that they may be wrong about anything, ever. What team are they on?

The ostriches are confusing the whole WWIII dynamic we had going.

Plus we can't have people simply ignoring the CFIA and court orders

Every few hundred thousand years actually and the magnetic poles are constantly moving around.

I was kind of on the Ostriches side until the owner said god saved the ostriches by answering their prayers and not the actual ####ing supreme court.

Also apparently they didn't report the initial outbreak. Don't need it spreading to humans...burn em all.
