I didn't see any announcements regarding training camp but here's what I know.

Sep 8th - Celebrity Golf Classic
Sep 12th(approx, not yet announced) - Prospect camp, likely with games against EDM teams due to not having Penticton.
Sep 21st - Training camp split squad vs EDM, so training camp will start a couple of days before that.
Oct 7th - Start of regular season

Yes. From what Carter has told me, prospects report on the 10th, game in Edmonton on the 12th and then game in Calgary on the 14th before the vets report later that week.

Are any of these games televised or covered on The Fan?

Going by the past few seasons, almost every exhibition game will be on the Flames YouTube channel if not SN West on occasion. The only one I'm uncertain of is the spilt squad game in Edmonton.

The NHL hasn't officially confirmed yet, but assuming we're operating under the same guidelines as last year, we'll only be allowed to stream games on CalgaryFlames.com and the Flames app, with regional restrictions.

The Sept. 12 and 14 prospect games, along with every preseason game not covered by Sportsnet (all of them?), will be streamed by us - EXCEPT the split-squad game from Edmonton. That night, we'll be dedicating our resources to the home game.

The Oilers will be streaming that game, but will be doing so behind their Oilers Plus paywall.

I don't understand the NHLs insistence on regional markets and blackouts.

Get all the content and put it on one service in Canada and rake in the dough! Why do they make it so difficult for out of market fans like me.

What's the deal with attending the prospects game on the 14th? I'm assuming they'd play it at the dome? Or is it a closed event at Mount Paskapoo there? I can't find anything about tickets anywhere. Could be a fun game to go to!

Young me: I wish I was older and had money so that I can watch every Flames game on tv all the way here in the United States.

Old me: I wish someone would take my money so that I can watch every flames game all the way here in the United States.

The game in Edmonton on the 12th go on sale tomorrow. Don’t think the 14th game in Calgary is even released yet.

Got an email from SOEC about the Canucks training camp in Penticton. They are charging $45 to watch a practice and scrimmage. That is also no good.
