3. Graduates and/or runoffs will be determined in each case
4. Please don't complain that the polls are going to deep. We go until all the prospects are ranked, so don't vote if you don't want to.

Seems like Poirier has dropped a little too far in our rankings. He's kind of a forgotten man here despite finishing 11th in the AHL for defensemen scoring.

I'm curious where Poirier slots this year. He's waiver eligible. Will have to see how that goes.
Went with Wyttenbach though. I'm always a sucker for these low likelihood high potential prospects. Could be another Gaudreau/Mangiapane. Could be a Zavgorodniy.

Went with Morton for a second straight round. As per flames Instagram, it is his birthday today as well, so just feels right for him to win this round too

Hmmm...Poirier, sure, he still has NHL upside and some runway left. Hasn't progressed much though. Not sure Grush is a legit prospect for the NHL. At 6'1" and 200 pounds, he's a little small for the role he would fit: A physical, shut-down defender. Hasn't shown a ton of potential just yet.
Honestly, at this point I'm more interested in guys like Mace'o, Wyttenbach, Lane, Zarubin, and even Sam Morton over a guy like Grushnikov.
To be clear, I voted Poirier this round because he has a strong pedigree as an offensive defenseman. I just think his days with this club are numbered because there are several guys ahead of him on the depth chart now for the type of game he plays. I think he's a trade piece in the very near future.
p.s. On a side note, I'm thoroughly impressed that the poster "Bear" has stuck to his choice of Eric Jamieson since the first round. That's some dedication.

Parker Bell isn't getting enough attention. Prototypical fourth line winger: Excellent skater, half-decent mitts, hard-nosed.

Not only that but he has already had a cup of coffee at the NHL level. I think he is more likely to play in the league than anyone else left

I wouldn't change what we've generated too much for my own list. The major change is that I would push Honzek down to around 12. Above stockselius. Also think kuznetsov amd king are too low.
I always reflect that there should almost be two lists, one that ranks star potential and one that ranks likelihood of nhl games/career. Honzek has higher star potential but imo lower potential of a career, whereas guys like kuznetsov and king and morton are imo no doubt going to have some nhl seasons.

I actually see Honzek the opposite way.
Has the tools to be a clear cut NHLer as an almost guarantee, but has had his ceiling slide in the past two years.

Its been a few rounds that we are seeing a number of votes for Wyttenbach. For those voting for him, im curious what it is about this prospect that has caught your attention? I don't know much about him yet.

Voting Poirier at 20 is wild. Speaks volumes on how the last few drafts have gone for us.

I think he just hasn’t improved to the point of a call up, but also hasn’t regressed at all either.
Many of our prospects have improved, which has made him drop a little. With Parekh and Brzu in the fold, I see Poirier as a piece added for the Flames to get an upgrade. I still think Poirier is an NHLer down the road, just not with the Flames.

Chris Tanev is 200 lbs at 6'3", so he is no where near as solid as Grushnikov. A lOT of good defensders are no more than 200 lbs.
