That's actually a really good deal IMO given the season he just had, how young he is, and how driven to get better he seems.

Phenomenal.
I’m not gonna lie this makes me feel much better about that jersey I’m picking up from Great Plains on Monday that I got crested with Coronato. I don’t have the best luck with these things and I was very worried that the minute I got it done he’d be doomed to leave.
Oh yeah and he’s a good player with lots of potential but that secondary to my jersey concerns.

We got laughed at by a few saying no chance Coronato gets a deal like this.
Great deal for the team and player. We are paying for future production and he will likely outplay this contract.

Young American committing long-term to the Flames, several years beyond his UFA age, is huge. Good payday for him after just one year, but I believe this contract will age very well. Great job, Craig!
