It’s a Team Game – The Flames do know they can start playing like they do in the third period in the other two, right? Saying this on the second half of a tough back-to-back is a bit harsh, yes, but they have followed this exact same game script for two full weeks at this point. If they want more success, they need to start dominating possession and chances earlier in the game.

I figured this all out in my head late last night too, the 'what is the best case scenario that can put us in a better position short term. Glad I'm not the only one.

Step one was MIN not getting 2 pts last night. 0 would have been nice but oh well, glass half full. Now we see what happens through the rest of the week. Gotta beat ANA for any reason to believe.

Losing the Utah game sucked, they burned one of the 2 losses I figured they would get through the final 10 games of a faint hope clause push. But I remind myself that if they won that game but lost to COL before or they win vs Vegas this week instead, it all ends up in the wash if the Flames end up finishing their final 10 going 8-2 (and making the playoffs).

I am proud of this team, and they should push right up until nearly the end, but once it's truly over they should put a couple of development players into games to give them a a taste.

You didn't, that's how puckpedia estimates day-to-day, which they got wrong since Zary is week-to-week. I wouldn't expect him back any time soon.

I've always had a hard time distinguishing certain colors. If I had to play in the game it would mess me up because that Ducks Orange and Flames red are really close. I'd have to look at helmets to make sure I was passing to the right team.

Anaheim isn't that far behind the Flames so this is no easy game. So I expect a pretty tight close game.

I must've missed that. I just did a quick search, and Conroy did say that the injury is not as bad as initially feared. I would be pretty happy to be wrong on that one.
