When I'm out driving around, I see these things sticking up from the concrete barriers on overpasses, bridges and off ramps. These little plastic squares that look like Pantone Swatches for Royal Blue.

What are they for?

Perhaps you should reflect on why you are so dumb.

as seen on local facebook group: "Will Confederation Golf Course be groomed today for cross country skiing?"

hmmmm.... given it was all brown yesterday and it's only snowed a few cm.... and I think they were looking at early opening for golfing.... and it's been closed for about a month to all ski activities...

So does that mean they are going to groom it?

Probably. Last year the city had extra snow clearing money, so they came and did extra street cleaning in the fall to avoid not using up the money. The cleaned our street, and then came and put gravel down less than a week later when it snowed

Why do I sweat for so long after I work out? I finished at noon and took a shower and I’m still overheating and sweating.

Because you are either:
1. Fat
2. Old
3. Out of shape
4. All of the above

Am I doing this right?

Most people with excessive sweating have a condition called 'idiopathic hyperhidrosis' Sometimes, however, hyperhidrosis can be caused by disorders of the thyroid, menopause, or certain medications.

I'm gonna call it then. Cecil definitely has the menopause.

The inside of your body gets hot as well. The shower just cools the outside. Drink some ice water before showering and you'll be fine.

Or, I don't know, quit being the human torch.

I've noticed some early gravel collection near me which is great...it's all just on the curb lane at this point serving no purpose on a busy cycle route up a hill

Oh...its serving a purpose alright...to everyone with ring-cams or home security cameras watching cyclists eat it.

I remember I was in Banff years ago and there was some cycling thing going on so they put fences and barriers up and we're having drinks on a patio and this one guy just loses it and goes ass over tea-kettle face first into a steel barrier.

Live by the cycle...endure pain by the cycle.

Presumably this is for cricket? Is their some good reason these aren't squared up to the field? Was someone told to orient it N/S but took it literally, used their compass and didn't adjust for local declination(it's about 1 degree off magnetic north)?
