At least Vlad was good tonight. And his 1st period was sensational. If not for his play Flames could've been a goal or 2 or 3 down after 1.

Kuzmenko and Sharangovic need to sit. Sharangovic is completely killing the Zary line. Call up Hunt for some jam. Vladar had a very good game.
I would have liked to see the lines shuffled to try and create one line with a little more offensive mindset.
Vegas is a great team, hopefully they steamroll the McOilers.

There's only so much practice time to go around. Do you want them to do even worse 5 on 5, 5 on 4, or 4 on 5 so they can be ready for a situation that doesn't even occur in most games?
Fix the big things first.

Yegor obviously isn't even close to being the worst player on the team but he's playing so passively right now. He'll get through this stretch, but it's maybe the most anyone has reminded me of late-stage Calgary Monahan since they traded him.

Three forwards didn't have a single shot on net this game.
Kuzmenko, Sharangovic, Pelletier. Sharangovic had 7 more minutes of ice time and 3:24 on the PP. He was the least impactful player in this game and should not have seen the ice in the third period.
Edit: if Kuzmenko sits because he is useless then Sharangovic should as well.
