Over the past few years I’ve become pretty jaded with pro sports. The NHL isn’t a hockey league, it’s an entertainment business.
In recent years it feels like we’re watching a glorified gambling billboard masquerading as a hockey league.
I don’t think the league is scripted per se, but my confidence in the legitimacy of pro sports is at an all time low.

I just don't get what the justification would be.
It was clearly Parayko's stick, and clearly enough force that his stick flexed, how is it a goal?

NHL just makes it incredibly difficult to like. With the refs having zero accountability, situation room is a joke, pushing the Oilers down our throats immediately post game, followed by ads for gambling…
