No, Fallout 1-2 are the best of them. New Vegas is just the best since Bethesda got the IP. The rest are trash.
Nothing about that trailer suggests to me that they've learned any lessons from Bethesda's failure to get Fallout right, incidentally - lots of shooting and explosions and "OH COOL, POWER ARMOR" - but there was so little substance overall that it's fairly impossible to tell. So we shall wait and see if it's good.
Plenty of opportunity to take storylines from the games (again, particularly 1-2, as it does appear to be set in SoCal?) and implement them for a TV show, that translates well. Or equally easy to create a brand new story in the setting. Regardless, Tim Cain's right there, guys. You can just ask him stuff.

Matt Berry as Cogsworth? Walter Goggins as the Ghoul? Yao Gai's fighting Brotherhood of Steel power armor? Mirelurks? Bottle caps? Fallout 3 soundtrack?
Looks like Amazon is dropping all episode on the 11th, which is not typical of them. Kind of disappointment by that to be honest, I like week by week and the discussion that follows.

"everyone wants to save the world, they just disagree with how" is so perfectly Fallout.
