CP member Regulator75 has passed
I learned this news this morning via Facebook that one of our own passed late last week. I do not know the details.
It had been a while since we last spoke. I first met him through the Skyscraper Page (SSP) forum many years ago.
Regulator75 had an incredible ability to use his camera to capture fantastic photographs. He was extremely talented.
I chose to share this news here as I know others on this board knew him personally as well.
I raise a glass, farewell friend.

I'm sorry to read that. I hope it was peaceful. Didn't know him personally, but he had been on CP for a long as I can remember. Almost 19,000 posts here.
Condolences to his friends and family.

Holy crap. Thanks a lot for sharing that, surferguy. I'm not sure I would have known otherwise. I went to junior high and high school with him. Very sad to hear. Made my blood run cold. RIP, indeed.
I was closer to him in junior high and remember him being really funny and fun to hang out with. Wasn't really friends with him outside of school, but whenever I was by him in a class or whatever he always made me laugh.

RIP. I like him as a poster, but I'm sure he was an even better human being. Seemed well liked on the boards.
The last CP member I can remember passing away was Phanutier. Long-time CP poster, young guy, passed away way too early.

 RIP, so young.
He was so nice offering photography tips to me years ago. I would be (and still am) amazed at his photos when they popped up on Flickr.

Lucky to have friends here who knew him. Condolences to his family. Makes you wonder over the years how many people have passed away and it goes unnoticed.

I can tell you without a doubt regulator's real-life self was even more likeable than his online self. He did have a funny sense of humour and was quick to laugh and smile. Loved his son like crazy, too. I did keep up with him a bit as adults, but haven't seen him since I left facebook maybe five years ago. He did some photography work for my wife's company maybe a decade ago and did a bang up job. During that process (I put them in touch with each other) I spoke with him on the phone and in person a few times and he was just like I remembered him from when we were young.
