Good effort last night Wings. You can relax and take it easy tonight.

I don't have a good feeling about this one. Wings have been on a roll and the last night's win is still fresh in their minds, whilst Flames have been 2 days off after the heartbreaking loss to the Sens. This would be an amazing chance to catch up others in the standings and I hope they are going to do it. GO FLAMES GO

Yeah, Wings on the 2nd night of a B2B, played late, Flames in their first game back after that meltdown in Ottawa. Not a good recipe, IMO.

Start Vladar, they have a chance. Start Markstrom, less so.

Two really good efforts to close out the road trip. I fully expect the Flames to dominate the majority of the game. Whether they win will be based on reasonable goaltending and limiting major breakdowns. I'm really hoping we avoid giving up a breakaway in the first 10 min.

My gut tells me Flames win 5-2.

PSA: when I went to a Wranglers game earlier this month, they started charging an extra $2 if you wanted butter on your popcorn. So a large popcorn with butter is now $9.75, not $7.75. Booooooooooooooooo.

I also believe this will be the first game wearing the home reds in about two months…

Can confirm, I recall the last Flames game they had a sign up saying they were charging for butter on popcorn as of Feb 1st 2023 lol

I guess the 7.75 wasnt enough to cover the cost of adding butter

No clue which Flames team will show up tonight, but if they want to secure a playoff spot they need more consistency at both ends of the ice, stat. And stop with the breakaways and odd man rushes against in the first period, please.

Flames can't look past Detroit.
They've been playing good hockey and are actually in the playoff hunt.

Detroit is no pushover and I think it will be a one goal game.

I think we have seen enough this season to know that with this team, 45 minutes of effort is a "good effort". Who knows which 15 minutes portion they'll decide to mail it in, but rest assured it will happen- just hopefully not at a critical time.

So let's hope that it's at least a 45 minute effort and not a 30, 15, etc. 60 is impossible.

The Flames shouldn't be looking past anyone at this point. Nevermind the fact that Detroit is basically in the exact same grouping as the Flames in terms of standings. Whether they should be or shouldn't be is another matter entirely.
