Calgary at Anaheim

The Calgary Flames cannot have a perfect road trip through California, but a win in Friday's clash against the Anaheim Ducks could make it good enough.

The Flames head to Anaheim after Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings, but do have a 2-0-1 record during this sojourn, thanks to consecutive wins over the San Jose Sharks that kicked it off.

Flames head to the Ducks in Pacific Division action

Anaheim is 9-22-3 overall with a 4-5-0 record against the Pacific Division. The Ducks have gone 5-12-2 in games their opponents commit fewer penalties.

Calgary is 15-12-6 overall with a 5-2-2 record in Pacific Division play. The Flames have a +three scoring differential, with 103 total goals scored and 100 conceded.

Yup, this game really makes or breaks this road Trip heading into the break.

Worst team in the league, Win and you get 7 out of 8 points. Take that any day.

Lose and only 5 out of 8 is a disappointment. Even an OT L is a disappointment given this team can't win in OT.

With this being a BTB and against the Ducks, I hope they insert Phillips into the lineup.
