Flames bring losing streak into game against the Devils

The Calgary Flames aim to end their five-game losing streak with a victory against the New Jersey Devils.

New Jersey is 9-3-0 overall and 4-2-0 in home games. The Devils have scored 44 total goals (3.7 per game) to rank ninth in the league.

I’m really hoping Kylington comes back and is ready to play at some point. Flames have Zadorov and Weegar and Hanifin and Andersson currently. I’d hope they’d just add Kylington and Tanev to that. That would give the team three quality L-R pairs capable of playing large minutes.

I wonder if playing more games when you're slumping is better because you can work your way out of bad habits, or if you're just piling on when things are already going poorly.

Depleted defense on 2nd night of a back to back against a quicker team and the Flames are starting their backup (I assume).

Nothing screams win, so watch them do it convincingly.

Thought the 4th line played really well yesterday, hopefully Sutter gives them some more opportunities tonight. They started the game on fire and created the first two goals with pace and being aggressive.

Who knows we might get a PP today as well.
