Hell of a player. Was a pleasure to watch him here for six years. And then to turn him into this return ... wow.
Absolutely no qualms with wearing a Tkachuk jersey for a long time, it was really special to have him in Calgary and I wish him the best in Florida.

I’ll miss him. He was my favourite player since Kipper retired. Wish he would stay longer, but glad that he was honest with the team.

Thanks for the memories Matty. I always felt like he was one of the players who hated Smith and the Oilers as much as fans did. Will continue to pull for him as a member of the Panthers and I will applaud him on his initial return to Calgary.

Gaudreau took less money and term to end up in Ohio. You got an extra year and ended up in Miami. Good for you Matthew! Say hi to Sam. Look forward to seeing you in the Finals.
