Default Brothers die in traffic crashes minutes apart

What a horrible series of unfortunate events. I can’t imagine what the father is going through.

Edit: sorry for not posting the link.

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (AP) -- Sheriff's deputy Andy McDowell was forced to live a parent's worst nightmare twice in a matter of minutes.
After he was taken to the site where one of his two sons was killed in a car crash early Wednesday, McDowell was driven past another fatal accident. Only later did he learn that the fiery wreck took the life of his only other child.

That has to be the worst thing for a parent to deal with, losing both your sons at the same time in such horrific conditions. That quotation "He lived for his boys" just broke my heart.

The father told authorities he had been talking with Rory McDowell on a cell phone about the time of the crash, Brown said. He said that might have been a factor in the crash...
Good God. That really sucks.

That's terrible and really strange.
An ex-GF of mine had a similar strange crash happen in her family. Her aunt and uncle lived out in rural Alberta somewhere. One night the aunt was late getting home and there was a bad snow storm outside, so the uncle went for a drive to see if he could find her. They ended up crashing head on into each other and both died.

That is awful news. Really bad. Losing two sons like that has to feel truly awful.
