I think he definitely misses the next 2 games. But I'm not his doctor

That just looked like one of those freak accidents.
I didnt see any malice...he's a young guy having a great season, hopefully this is nothing.

Good to hear that Kylington seems to be okay, I might still give him a night off to be cautious.
Not that it matters to Sutter or Treliving but Mackey played for Minnesota State University and his home town is only 6 hours from Minneapolis.
Could be a neat opportunity to reward a kid who has had a great season with a game close to home.

All I can get
Mackey definitely deserves a call up.
I dunno what's up with Valimaki... kid seems to have lost some mojo.

Should trade him a mony as a package while he has some value left

Yeah he was KO and when he was coming off the ice with the help of the boys he was seeing little birds .that was scary as hell I hope he is ok and won't miss much time I agree he needs to sit out the next 2 games just to be safe

If he is fine on Tuesday he will play...if there are no symptoms taking a week off is irrelevant

He looked out cold. With a one game trip, may be best for him to just miss next game to not have to do the travel. Be ready for MTL.
Or perhaps he’s fine. Then giver.

The awkwardness of it reminded me of Taylor Hall’s run in with Hamonic at the Memorial Cup in 2010.

It’s a good thing we have Michael Stone for just such an occasion.
Get well soon, Oliver. Concussions are serious business.

I was afraid it was his neck (spine) that was injured the way he went down... Glad he got up and hopefully he's ok and back soon.

Sutter answered he was fine so quickly.
He’s playing Tuesday.

If it's a head injury taking a little extra time off is definitely not irrelevant, even if he's fine on Tuesday.

Sometimes I don't begrudge these guys making what they do make. It's dangerous. One split second, and you're injured permanently.

I take Sutter prognosis with a grain of salt. He obviously thinks the protocol is a bit of a joke, and the notion that neck is better than head might be a bit superficial.

If Sutter had a choice he would have Bearcat Murray back with a box of smelling salts.
Rest Oliver. He is going to have to play some real games in May/June.
