I have a 2009 Yamaha R6 and 2007 Yz250. Thinking about the Tenere 700 but my wife is saying hard no. Haven't ridden much in the last few years, we had a kid and my priorities have shifted, probably only rode 500km last year.
Started on a Honda Magna and now I have a trusty old BMW r1150gs from 2004, imported from the US. Half sports bike half tractor this machine is a dream that can devour long highway miles as well as off-road.
Spoiler!
Off road

I've been riding for 12 ish years now, had a few bikes in that time. Current one is a 2016 street glide and I absolutely love it, done a few very long rides on it and its just the best.
Before that was a 2008 Boulevard and my first was a beater 1998 kawi ninja 500.
I'll be keeping the streetglide long term, but id like something smaller for ripping around the city, maybe refurbish an old Cafe racer

I feel you...we have three and my riding time has cratered. Luckily, they are getting older and want to do some road trips.

How much is a really good condition 2009 Suzuki SV 650 with about 8500km on it worth? Bought brand new in 09 and it hasn't been ridden since 2012.

I have a 2014 Suzuki V-Strom. I do love getting out on it, although last year I didn't ride very much at all. I saw the aftermath of two bad looking accidents right in the spring and I guess that made me think things through a little...but I didn't sell and intend on riding more this year again.

I’m older and like the comfort that my Gold Wing provides. Haven’t ridden for three years but I’m intending to get out this summer. I may do a longer trip into B.C. or into southern Alberta. I live in central Alberta.

Stoked for this thread. 07 GS, Really want to get a DR650, if funds allow.
Once roads are clear, I ride everywhere I don’t take my project car. My saddlebags are off and on in seconds, so my little bike is super handy.
Curious what you all do for skill development, particularly those who don’t get to ride much? It’s gotta be tough if you only get a few rides in a year, but that makes it even more important to practise your skills. Would anyone be interested in some casual practise meets this year? I practise pretty routinely but it’d be a fun way to get some more time on your motorbike while making you a safer rider. Because really, group rides kinda suck and hoping on your bike a few times a year to keep up with street Rossi’s is kind sketchy.
