Flames Jarome Iginla Retirement Ceremony + Wild @ Flames 8:00pm (Full HNIC)

Tonight is a special night. Tonight #12 is raised to the rafters.

Thread on Iginla's Jersey Retirement: https://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=172303

Official Iginla Appreciation Thread: https://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=173111

Once the festivities end, then the game will begin.

The Calgary Flames are back at home in the Scotiabank Saddledome taking on the Minnesota Wild on Hockey Night in Canada.

Projected starters are David Rittich for the Flames and Devan Dubnyk for the Wild. https://leftwinglock.com/starting-goalies

The Flames have won their last seven games and currently sit seven points up on San Jose in the Western Conference.

The Wild are on a hot streak of their own having won their four. The Wild currently hold down one of the wildcard spots with a 31-27-6-68 record.

Zach Parise leads the Devils with 24 goals; Ryan Suter has the most assists with 34 and Jared Spurgeon is leading the way in the +/- column at a +7.

If you mash the buttons on your remote control you’ll find this game, it’s being broadcast on: CBC, City, SportsNet 1, SportsNet East, SportsNet Ontario, SportsNet West, SportsNet Pascific, and SportsNet 360.
Here’s to you Jarome! I’m honoured that I got to see you play in person twice. You are unquestionably deserving of this honour, and I’m glad to know that no Flame will ever wear the number 12 again.
That said, let’s not lose focus on the game at hand.

I'm toying with the idea of using an infographic rather than a write-up. Thoughts?

Go Flames Go

Does anyone know when they’ll start showing the ceremony on TV? I need to set PVR. Damn work. Go Flames! Let’s make it 8 straight!

The game is also on Sportsnet One and SN360. A reminder that the retirement ceremony is on Sportsnet West and will begin at 6:30 pm. That means viewers watching the Penguins-Habs game on the West channel will have to switch to SN360 or the other regional channels to see the rest of that game after 6:30 pm.

(probably) on behalf of Flames fans outside of North America;

Can someone (AC? ) please tape the whole ceremony and upload it on Youtube?

I don't think NHL TV will broadcast the ceremony, and ofcourse I (we) don't want to miss it!

A big thank you in advance!

I would assume that if SportsNet West is broadcasting the ceremony then it would be on NHL.TV

I would also assume that the Flames will have it on one of their social media sites.

That said, it would be awesome if someone did capture the footage just in case.

Hopefully NHL.TV carries it. I’ve really enjoyed hearing the stories on 960 this week.

Conroy’s version of Warrener’s Halloween party was hilarious. His speech will be great.

Shaw are listing the ceremony separately at 6.30 - 7 on Sportsnet west.

So happy to see Iggy’s number take its rightful place in the rafters. Just wish he could have gotten a cup. (Besides the one we got screwed out of in 2004 - it was in)

Oh, and go Flams!
