Default February 5 with a dozen games!

The Tuesday OOT has finally returned to normal with lots of games and Mountain prime time games.
There are only a pair of games that do not feature a western conference team.

For a better viewing and listening environment, use the WGN feed of the Blackhawks-Oilers game. No clowns on that channel. Viewers in the USA unfortunately will get the Oilers feed as it is very rare the WGN feed is used on Centre Ice.

Kane has been on fire lately and is now only 4 back from Kucherov. Hope he keeps that up tonight.

4 rows behind the penalty box at the Pens/Canes game. Wish I knew how to host images...

Excited to see Ferly play.

No way. Let's win the division first, then worry about WPG.

If we don't have home ice for round 3, well so be it. But winning the division and letting VGS and SJS fight it out in round 1, while we host the WC, is the most important thing, IMO.

If SJ loses tonight, and we beat them Thursday, we'd have an 8 pt lead with a game in hand. And we would still be ahead of WPG for the conference title.

Conversely, if SJ wins, then beats us, we're only 2 pts up on them.

The Caps and their fans sure love Jay Beagle. Just had a video tribute to him during a TV time out, got a standing ovation and a hug from Ovi. Pretty nice job by everyone there to show him some respect.

With a win, Chicago will move into a tie with the Oilers (and potentially a bunch of other teams).

Anaheim is on a 4 game losing streak and Chicago is on a 4 game winning streak. If both those streaks continue, the Ducks will drop into second-last place in the Conference. If LA can pull off a win and Anaheim loses, the Kings will only be 3 points back of the Ducks with a game in hand.

Pretty funny how the Canucks only have 2 pro goalies under contract. If Markstrom gets injured, Dipietro is the number 1!

With an assist on TJ Oshie's goal Alexander Ovechkin has notched 1,180 points to become the highest scoring Russian-born player.

Congratulations, Ovi!

I am not worried about the Sharks, they are not catching us.

Neither am I, but I am also not capable of wishing anything good for them. I hate the Sharks.

Shots are 18-5 for Washington. Jacob Markstrom is the only reason this game is not already out of reach for the Canucks.
