The Rangers are simply falling apart. They're losing 2-0 after twenty minutes and being out shot 18-5. Larsson and Kempe have scored.

It is 2-1 now for the Devils, the Knights' Reaves have scored. Subban and Kinkaid are the goalies and the shots are 11-11.

I could do without Vegas being uber competitive. 2 years in the league and they're a perennial playoff team already. Such a spoiled fanbase.

3-2 Vegas.. this one is pretty much done. Devils have been terrible.

Flames need to win tomorrow.

Rangers have been outscored 18-3 in their last 3 games.

And this one isn't even over yet.

That's the right call, but the most frustrating thing is that similar goals have been recalled several times this season.

As for VGK's push, and the other Pacific Division teams this year, here is the difference between all of them and the Flames:

13-3-3
13-4-7
10-5-7

These are the home-ice records for the #2–4 teams in the Pacific. The Flames are 12-4-4 at the Saddledome. To be in the playoffs a team has to win their home games.

12-12-1
10-9-3
9-11-0

This is what separates the great teams from those that are merely good. To go far in the playoffs a team also needs to win a lot on the road. The Flames are an impressive 14-9-0 away from home.

The Knights collected points in every single one of their last ten home games, and have won eight since 1 December. In that time they are 4-3-1 on the road. Since 1 December the Flames have collected 14 points in their last 10 road games.

Is it too much to ask for the Oilers to beat the Ducks tonight?

Honestly competing with the Sharks and the Golden Knights for the division is good with me. So much better than the Ducks.

The Jets and Red Wings have 2-1 leads after forty minutes in their respective games.

Did anyone catch the Craig MacTavish interview?

Tara Sloan: "Grant Fuhr was asked to describe you in one word and he responded: 'Loyalty'."
Mactavish: "Glen Sather instilled in all of us a strong sense of loyalty..."

I think that says a lot.
