We were out-shot, but Vas found a way to steal 2 points against the Hawks for the second time this week. Almost identical results, stats wise, as the last game too.

After seeing the score, the first thing I always look at is "game notes" to see if we have another injury. Minor panic attack when I saw "broken bone" but then a sigh to see it wasn't one of mine. Tough break for the Hawks as they lose Malkin for a month after a hit by Benn.

Holy crap I'm on a 2 game winning streak

To say this result sucked would be a dramatic understatement. Not only did my team lay an egg in an important game to a top team, but I lost my captain and first line center for a month.

This will be a definite challenge for the Hawks to overcome and we will need some guys (I’m looking at you Turris and Trocheck) to step up in Malkin’s absence.
