Really interested to see how he does at the NHL level. Hopefully this isn't the entire "shake up."

Normally I would say no but given recent talk I think he will.

Now watch GG seal his own fate by not playing him.

This is Gulutzan we're talking about. Would it really come as that much of a surprise if he chose to dress his golden boys Stajan and Brouwer instead?

It would be a pretty, uh, “bold” decision to dress and play a guy who hasn’t practiced with the team at all. For a regular NHLer who is a proven commodity it’s one thing, but for a player who has never played an NHL game with NHL players it’s completely different.

Bennett - Monahan - Tkachuk
Gaudreau - Backlund - Jagr/Ferland
Mangiapane - Jankowski - Hathaway
Jagr/Ferland - Stajan - Brouwer

Bring back the dominant AHL line, promote Bennett with some more minutes, and get Gaudreau/Monahan split up for a little.

Unless something has changed, Stockton plays the same system as the Flames for the specific purpose of allowing AHL players to jump right in when needed.

The way I see it, the only "bold" decision here would be to play not one, but two guys who are clearly no longer NHL players ahead of one who might be.

Finally, the AHL’s player of the month actually gets to play in the NHL. I was impressed with him in the 2015 Penticton tournament. Hopefully Hrivik gets a call up to replace Hamilton and we can finally have a 4th line who might be actually be able to produce a goal.

Hope this isn't the critical part of the shakeup.... Though a step in the right direction.

If they go on to bench Brouwer and Stajan, well even better!

Gaudreau - Monahan - tkatchuk
Bennett - Backlund - Ferland
Mangiapane - Jankowski - Hathaway
Brouwer - lazar - jagr

Ugh, still gotta put Brouwer in...

Ive wanted to see Tkatchuk get some time on the first line for awhile. I think Ferland has done great but with Frolik out this is the time to give this a try
