Is there a worse defense in the league? I can't remember a worse defense in Flames history as I've never seen anything like this with all these turnovers. Treliving seems to put a lot of value in the blue line and outside of Brody and Gio this is a group he assembled and he can't be happy about this as it's am embarrassment.

Well some BS reffing didn’t help but this L is 100% on the D. 4/5 goals allowed on completely avoidable giveaways, we beat ourselves. Lack of secondary scoring doesn’t help either. Not on the full fire Gulutzan team but why does our highly offensive D group generate such little offense? Anyways, tighten up that defense a hell of a lot and regroup for tomorrow. Go Rittich.

Absoutely abysmal, atrocious, horrendous game by the defensemen(Gio being the one who seems to have a brain at the moment) Turnover after turnover... Do these guys learn? LITERALLY handed the game over to the Stars. Refs were garbage too, should've been on the powerplay at least once, but the Stars scored instead. These defensemen need to get their heads out of their butt. Not sure if it's coaching or what, but this combo of defensemen... I'm not sold. Something is off about the group. I'd be up for a shakeup to be honest. This team LOVES to beat themselves. It's mindblowing.

Just brutal play by the defence.
Spoiled a great game by the top line yet again.
Also one of the worst reffed games I've seen in a while, but we didn't deserve to win anyways with the way our D played.

The D being horrible is normal now. Mention the D when they don't have countless turnovers or don't lose the game for us.

So how much longer are defensive turnovers going to be tolerated?
It's a bigger problem than the secondary scoring.
But it's not the coaches fault...

I cannot believe we were winning 4-3 with 8 mins to go. Gaudreau and the top line should also call out the defense.

They’re too busy picking the puck out of their own net or turning it over at the blue line. Dougie IS on course for 50 points, but good lord I’d be ok with 15 less if he could just play with any brains at all.
