This makes sense from a merchandising point of view. Introduce 2 jersey's next year then a third one down the line to get a new batch of buyers. Most will only buy one jersey at a time, but when the new ones come out will consider another.

As a general rule: God I hope not. The Change to Reebok led to numerous horrible choices. Most notably, our overly busy vertical piping and Edmonton's lazy practice jersey look.
Specific to Calgary, I hope so. If not the retros, then take the template from the last third jersey and put the regular logo on the chest.

I believe that was the same when the RBK jerseys came in. There were no third jerseys for the first year because RBK wanted to sell the home and road jerseys, and then add in third jerseys later, and they were phased in with a few teams getting a third each year.
