The way the 4th line played last night with each guy going -3 you have to think Janko is going to get a look and Hamilton sits at least maybe Ferland, Hathaway, or even Monahan takes a seat so Shinkaruk can get another look playing with Janko?

Monahan is my favorite Flame.
The club needs him to play like the player he was the past three seasons. Your big guys need to be your big guys, and he gets paid the dough to do the heavy lifting. Anything less than a 60pt season from him and solid defensive play would be very disappointing.
I'm really hoping he has a beast of a game and shakes off the monkey on his back. He's struggling with confidence obviously, so he needs to refocus and do what we all know he can do.
I have not given up hope on the man who has scored more goals than anyone else from the 2013 draft, and has even scored more than the 2011 first OA pick.

Jankowski - Tkachuk had good chemistry on the PP during the Penticton tourny. Not too likely that Jankowski sees PP time but with the struggles they've been having, I wouldn't mind seeing him out there.

Isles are terrible. Ladd has 3 points. He makes 8 million dollars this year (cap hit 5.5). That is really really bad.

Agreed. If he was any player like McSaviour, he would be a starting goalie and play the entire PP as well.

Even though the Isles suck, I still feel this game has the potential to be bad for the Flames.
-2nd game of back to back
-Elliot in net
-Wideman getting his usual 20+ mins
-Monahan lost in Lala land
-The team got spanked the night before. New losing streak on the horizon?
-Still pooey special teams
I hope I'm wrong. Gonna need Jankowski to be the saviour in this one to have a chance!
