Default Samsung Galaxy 4 help

My wife's Galaxy 4 is overheating and none of the buttons work. The home screen logo fades in and out, also the blue indicator light. She can't reboot it. Can anyone help Mrs. MG out?

It might be a tumor.

Odd but after a few hours the problem stopped. The phone healed itself.

What version of OS are you running? We used to see that a lot when we had a fleet of the S2 models. They would heat up and chew through battery. An OS update would fix the problem.
