Jagr has a bit of a recipe together:
2013: $2M + $2M bonus
2014: $3.5M + $2M bonus
2015: $3.5M + $1.905M bonus
2016: $4M + $1.5M bonus
He's going to break records next year. Good for the Panthers.

Aww man... I knew it wasn't going to happen, but I still hoped we'd sign him for one year. I love that guy.

I'm pretty much convinced he will still be a 50 point guy when he's 50.

I just wanted him to sign 'somewhere else,' anywhere else. Just get another travelling Jagr jersey. I want him to play for 29 teams before he retires. No need to tarnish his legacy by getting any Oil on him.

Only 19 points behind Messier for #2 all-time. How could he not come back?
I like him coming back because it means that there's still at least one player in the NHL who's older than I am.

Probably last year for him at least in Florida. They got their young guys coming up and he was pretty bad again in the playoffs. He has gone almost 40 games now without a goal.
That being said he is still a great regular season player when the tempo isn't that high.

He scored 3 goals in the last 8 games of the season?
He went 6 games without scoring including playoffs

I can't wait for the day that Messier gets passed on the points list.

Should've been more clear but something like 37 consecutive games in the playoffs without a goal.
I think the last time he scored in the postseason was when he was in Philly.

I like him coming back for on sole reason, bumping Messier down a spot in all time points leaders board.

I wonder if he will be a non-factor in the playoffs again next season. He has enough talent to get points in the less intense regular season, but he doesn't appear to have the extra gear needed for the playoffs anymore.

He's gotta stick around for the next crop of 18 year old models to show up.
