Flames Thanks Bob Hartley

Have to admit to being completely surprised by this, though I'm not super anti this decision.

Regardless, he did right by the Flames for a few seasons and I wish him and his family nothing but the best going forward. Please join me in doing so also.

Good message, there's no doubt that he loved the Flames, and he worked incredibly hard for them and for the players. Hopefully he gets another shot out there.

But thanks Bob.

He provided an extremely exciting season and for that I thank him. I also liked him on a personal level as he seems like a good man. I wish him the best of luck in finding another NHL job.

Wow. Not shocked but shocked. Really enjoyed him behind the bench but it is likely the right decision. The very best to Bob and his family in his future endeavors.

Loved his passion and loved his commitment to the Flames. He was also hilarious.

One of my favorite coaches ever, from a personality perspective. The 'Artley Era was a ton of fun.

He gave us one of the most exciting underdog seasons imaginable, for that alone he'll be remembered fondly

This is the right move for the team, but I enjoyed Hartleys time as our coach

Actually super choked about this. Last year wasn't great, but we don't exactly have a 'can't miss' roster right now.

Really wish we had given him another year to rebound, especially after what he did the year before.

Thank you Bob, without you and Feaster we wouldn't have the fantastic outlook we have now.

Thanks for the fun times Hartley. You laid a solid foundation for a lot of these young players. I will definitely miss your jokes. One of the more affable coaches in the league who is always good for a quote. Even when things are down, you could count on that at least.

Or Quebec.

I will always Boblieve.

I love the way he talked about hockey and his outlook on the game in general. If I was a GM looking for a coach, he'd be at or near the top of my list.

Bob was a huge part of turning this team around quickly last season. I have very little to complain about with Hartley also loved coaching the Flames and it showed, I loved his passion for the game. Bad move by Treliving/Burke.

This was one of the favorite GIFs I ever doctored.
I'm very saddened that it'll have to be retired.
