I've liked Fitzpatrick for a while. I would not be opposed to the Flames using a 2nd on him if they get additional picks through trading off guys at the deadline.

I have always been of the opinion that you continue to add one quality goalie prospect each draft until you find your team's next Kiprusoff type star goalie.

Mike McLeod is big and insanely fast. RH center... he'll be a mid 1st steal. Will likely go higher.

Sergachev was alright. Juolevi was more noticeable.

Sean Day doesn't look as bad as his draft ranking says he is. Stands out in his own zone.

Benning says the draft drops off after the top 15. Also points out Canucks need a d-man but will take bpa regardless of position.

I thought Gauthier would stand out more so far.

Agreed about Dubois, he's just reinforcing how much I like him tonight.

Wasn't all that familiar with any of the blueliners but Jakob Chychrun looks like a complete stud. Seems to think the game at a high level at both ends and is tough.

Even if Calgary doesn't draft top 3 we're going to get a legit exciting prospect. Handful of guys after that that can be important pieces.

-Mike McLeod to me the most impressive forward
-Chychrun would be a good player to walk out of this draft with if we miss the Finns/Matthews.

I tend to agree when it comes to drafting goalies. Keep the pipeline flowing.
