With the timing of the trade it makes it look like they're trading him because of the 2 goals against in 2 seconds thing, where Johansen lost a single faceoff resulting in a GA.

If anything, this keeps them further away from Auston Matthews considering Johansen was either healthy scratched or playing 10 min a night.
