A couple of soft goals both ways and it is 1-1 in Buffalo, headed to the 3rd.

Panarin to Kane with 30 seconds left to tie the game on a 5-on-3 with another delayed penalty on the way!

Should stay a 5-on-3 then.

That was insane with the extra attacker, it made the tying goal a three man advantage. O'Reily missing the empty net was the heartbreaker for the Sabres.

The Sabres had a power play midway through the overtime (Shaw took a penalty), but could not score. The Blackhawks even had a break away chance while shorthanded. Kane scores the only goal in the shootout and wins it for Chicago 3-2.

The Stars, Leafs, and Hurricanes all have early 1-0 leads.

Kesler scored a late first period goal and the Ducks lead 2-0 heading into the second period.

The Hurricanes now lead 2-0, both of their goals came on the power play.

Buffalo can have no complaints about those calls, they were all clear penalties.

The 'Hawk pattern, for about a decade, is listless play vs. Non-O6 Eastern teams...was no different today.

Forsberg scores 46 seconds into the game and Ribeiro scores on the power play, 2-0 Predators.

Yikes, I guess it sucks being a right defenceman against Jamie Benn. Just sent Petry to the dressing room.

Dallas is taking their frustrations out on Montreal.

5-1 now, Jamie Benn with another.

Its funny how some teams just seem to like playing other teams. We've got 4 points from 2 games against Dallas, with Benn and Seguin putting up 0 points. Tonight, they pound all over Montreal, with those 2 putting up 5 points and Benn forcing Petry out of the game.

Byron with another shorty. Man do we miss him on our PK. Makes me sad.

Yeah he ran over Brodie a couple of times in the last game too. It didn't seem to affect Brodie but Benn is a tough guy to go up against.

Dallas responds with a PP goal by Eaves, chasing Condon.

The Columbus goalie, whose name is Korpisalo, just made a huge save with 3 minutes left in a tied game on Voracek.

Yeah the Kings don't even look like they are trying today. Maybe they are realising they winning the Pacific likely means a harder 1st round matchup than being 2nd.
