Best fish tacos in Calgary?
Have a craving for these lately...
Anyone have a good recommendation on where to get some like they do in California?

Joey's Urban may not be the best, but they're really really good IMO. I like the spicy shrimp ones.

I used to work at Big Fish on Edmonton Trail, and theirs were amazing (this was 4 years ago, I assume they still are since it's the same people still running the place)
The fish is fried in chilli spice and garlic butter and then served with house made mango salsa and guac, mmmmmm

Local on 8th has the best fish tacos I've ever had. They're pretty pricey at $5 per taco, but they are tasty.

Craft has really good fish tacos actually. One of the few places I've had that aren't deep fried.

Salt and Pepper in Inglewood. Easily the best I've had!
Those fish tacos were the tits.

I like the crispy shrimp (without the aioli/mayo they use) from Joey's Urban. I just add hot sauce to taste. The crispy fish is decent too as I think they use halibut.
Sadly, my niece quit work there and I can no longer get the family discount.

They are disgusting at Original Joe's. I had ordered them in the past and they were ok, nothing spectacular. However, the last time I ordered them they came with what appeared to be chopped up fishsticks. Really fishy, heavily processed, and really the opposite of what you are looking for in a good fish taco (freshness).

The ones I make are the best. By far. No you cannot have my recipe.
Anyway, I still haven't been to Native Tongues, so I can't actually review but I've heard they're very good... yet I don't see them mentioned here for some reason.

Pelican Pier on 14th St. NW has a sign out front saying they have them now.
Admittedly, I've never tried their's, but I think they're one of the better fish and chips places in town.

I also used to work at Craft - theirs are good but Big Fish's are better!
