Icon46 Bieksa tells Canucks he will waive NTC for Sharks

Farhan Lalji @FarhanLaljiTSN
#Canucks have asked Kevin Bieksa to waive his no-trade clause. Potential list of teams TBD

edit:
Farhan Lalji @FarhanLaljiTSN
To clarify, #canucks have spoken to Bieksa about moving on. He's agreed to waive if the right trade comes. A trade hasn't been finalized.

LOL

I wonder how much of this was due to Ferkland showing everyone how irrelevent Bieksa is these days

Bieksa's list:

Anywhere I don't have to play Ferland 5 times a year.

But he has to stay close so Ferland can smash him more. Maybe trade him to the oilers! There has to be a deal that can make both teams a little worse...

I'll tell you one thing, it's way more fun watching other teams decide to trade assets two seasons later than they should have.

Irrelevant.

I hope he refuses to waive and they're stuck with him.

I could see him go to Anaheim to re-join Kesler. Kesler, Bieksa, Perry.....

He looked so old, slow and worn down last year and not just in the playoffs. Maybe a 4th or 5th for him? Arizona just to help with the floor? He's a worm body on defense at least.

Why would they add him to that great young d-core.

Wisniewski didn't have a spot and he is better than Bieksa.
