Could I make a suggestion that in the "Status" field of the My Profile section, you could maybe add the team you GM? It will show up as a yellow banner beside your username (I currently have it on mine)

I'm sure it's just a newbie thing, but when some of you message me, I have to go figure out what team you run so I can bring up the information. A couple guys are using their real name, and so I'm even more lost to which team it is.

you can also change the display name of everybody. I have been doing that and now my list reads like

CGY (Cheese)
CMB (MJK)
SJS (Drury18)

and so on. Great way to keep it organized.

^ How did you do that? I was trying to play around last night to do something similar, but when I clicked on editing friends list or display names, I just got options to add or delete. No modify.

if you hold on to a name on the phone app, it gives you options including "change name". I haven't installed the PC client yet so I don't know if you can do it there ... but it'd be surprising if you can't.

I put on the app back on my phone and see where you can make the changes. It doesn't look like the Desktop app offers the same ability. You can view a mini profile for each person, but there doesn't seem to be any way to edit the names. I've clicked and double clicked on a few places on the screen and profiles and nothing is highlighting and bringing up a place to make the change.

You can though edit the names on the phone app, then go into the Desktop app and Sync Friends and it will put all your name changes from the phone onto the desktop one. Instead of "Devo22", I changed yours to "Toronto - Devo22" on my phone and then synced with the desktop and my desktop shows the edited name now.

That's the one thing I like as well. It's fine once you get it setup and going. The process for doing that is convoluted and badly setup, but it seems good once you do get to that point.

I think you need the mobile app to start with, but you can delete it once you have the desktop version.

1.) download to your phone
2.) add all the GMs and edit their names if you want to
3.) download to your PC
4.) sync your contacts
5.) delete the phone app if you don't want it

done.

strange...we will have to find a work around for you. Maybe someone else can create an account for you on their phone with your credentials.
Or maybe we take up a collection to get you a new phone LOL.
