Gaudreau applies for 'Johnny Hockey' trademark

my little girl is a year and 10 months old - so new words keep coming everyday
while watching the flames/panthers game friday night we were 'working on' johnny hockey
she's already got 'ockey' down. so next was 'johnny'... and she nailed it!
so then the task was to put the two words together and get 'johnny ockey'. unfortunately, jordan found it way more fun to just keep exclaiming 'johnny johnny!'
oh well... we'll get there
she's already got a bunch... 'iggy', 'pipper' (sorry kipper, i'm trying!), 'geeeeeeeeo', 'iller'
and this was her after a backlund goal (sorry for the crappy ipod pic)

I get why he is doing it, but still not a fan.
I don't think Wayner trademarked The Great One, but if you use that term most people will know who you are talking about.

I LOVE IT! I'm sure some conservative old farts in very loud suits will object, but I think it's cool. It's his name - he came by it organically.
And... it's a great phrase... 'Johnny Hockey' - it has a great ring to it and could be an awesome brand name if done properly. I could see peewees in 20 years all sporting Johnny Hockey logos on their helmets.
Good for him!
