Marlies are playing Sparks. Same kid that saw his first AHL game of the season during our last meeting and got the shutout.

To those who watch the baby Flames, how has Ramage been doing this season?

Culkin and Acolaste with some fancy moves to get into the zone. Acolaste put the puck between the D man's legs, but then bobbled the puck.

He's been playing pretty well. He's made some really nice defensive plays, doesn't seem to be afraid to drop to block a shot and he makes some nice passes to start some offence.
He's still probably further down the depth chart for D on the Flames, but he's a pretty good defenceman.

Flames with a 3 on 2 and Ferland takes a huge shot and Sparks make the save.
Marlies take a penalty on the play and Flames will go to the PP!

Ramage with a blast from the point and the Flames are all over the rebound trying to push it in.
Flames taking shots and just hacking at the rebounds on this PP.

Culkin takes a interference call and we will have 4 on 4 before the Marlies get a short PP.

Very quick paced game. Almost 10 minutes in already, very few whistles. Flames leading shots 7-1.

Flames kill off the penalty. We've now killed 36 of our last 37 penalties.

Lines:
Ramage-Sieloff
Wotherspoon-Yonkman
Culkin-Acolaste
Reinhart-Knight-Hanowski
Baertschi-Arnold-Poirier
Ferland-Tousigant-Wolf
Van Brabant-Vause-Hathaway
I should note, lines aren't in order of importance, it's more the order I have them written down

Ferland almost gets one there and Sparks somehow made that save.
The Flames PP looks MUCH improved tonight.

Ferland now with the same amount of SOG as the entire Marlies team. He has 4 already in the 1st period.

Hanowski up to Vause and Vause makes a huge shot.
Coughs up the puck and Vause races back to make a big defensive play as well.
Hell of a two way shift there from Vause.

And after the few whistles we are getting in the game, we are getting some pushing and shoving.
That part hasn't changed from the last game.

so Mr Drury
Is Acolaste a prospect or a AHL guy who could fill in for injuries in the NHL?
