Default Setting up DNS on router for streaming services

In our household we have a number of different platforms that can open Netflix - PS3, PCs, iPads, etc.

I can change the DNS settings on the router to use Unblockus as the DNS service to get the Americanized version of Netflix, but I am not really that comfortable having all internet traffic use that. I realize that I can do it on a device level, but that's a chore and still leaves all traffic from that device going through Unblockus. I don't know if this is a bad thing, unless Unblockus decides to direct us to a spoof'd site, say our banking site or something.

My question is, can we direct only Netflix / Hulu to only use the Unblockus DNS service, while everything else uses our IPs DNS?

Thanks in advance - by the way, using the Dlink 655 router.

That's a bit of the thing. I don't know enough of the dangers or issues of using a
DNS server that makes it look like I am in the US. Will this affect anything if I just leave it set to the unblockus DNS permanently?

You can get chrome extensions like proxy mate that you can turn on and off and only with specific websites. Computer/chrome only though.

Could you setup up a route in your router to direct Netflix's IP to unblockus DNS?

I use unotelly. & as far as I understand, it only directs the relevant traffic through its servers (netflix etc). All the other traffic is routed seperately. I found this in their FAQ's.

When you type in a website's domain name into your web browser, your computer finds the matching IP address to locate a website. A DNS (domain name system) server acts like a telephone directory that your computer uses to search for a website's matching phone number.

Like websites, every computer/device has an assigned IP address that belongs to a particular area.
Some U.S & U.K websites block certain regions from accessing their media content.
UnoDNS bypasses such geo-blocks by providing you with a local IP address when accessing these websites.

UnoTelly is transparently creating a network tunnel from your location to our servers.
Any data not directly related to our supported media content is untouched by UnoTelly and is forwarded directly to the Root Name Servers.

Unblockus does the same. It only redirects the DNS traffic for sites that it redirecting for like Netflix, Gamecenter etc.

But that doesn't answer the OP's question (I assume) which is - is it safe that all DNS traffic is going to Unblockus or Unotelly? They say they aren't doing anything nefarious with it, but that's just them saying it.
