Default recommendation for where to buy a desktop computer

I'm looking at purchasing a desktop (not for gaming and the most intense thing I'll be running is likely photoshop CS6 and a good monitor (close to adobeRGB colours).

Any recommendation as to where the best place to go and get advice and buy a computer is?

If you're in Calgary, I'd check out Memory Express. You can probably have them build you one cheaper, better and more to your needs than one off the shelf.

Another vote for Memory Express. Been buying stuff there for many years.

Memory Express

But first, go to www.shopbot.ca and look up all the parts you need. Then price match them at Memory Express.

Built 3 computers with memory express and it was awesome. If its not a far drive, I recommened the one on 58th Ave. Always seem to have a good experience over there.

Vote for MemX from me too. Ask them to build it or build it yourself.

If for whatever weird reason you don't want to go there... Probably I would recommend Staples next, maybe Dell.ca? (Going with probably with next best customer support and service)

Memory Express. Desktop I bought in 2007 and had built is still running strong today.

Just bought a new one from the YVR location and it continues to be a great experience there.
