Video Games you'd love to see re-made?
What are some of the video games that you'd love to see re-made?
One game that I always enjoy is Tachyon the Fringe.
Voiced by Bruce Campbell made it extra special, but with the games of today this would be a cool sequel or remake.
Here is an open source game like Tachyon. http://www.oolite.org/

Reminds me of Star Wars: Dark Forces. That was a fun game.

Interstate 76 didn't cut it. Needs the top down view to stay true to the Steve Jackson RPG experience.

In other words, if Square redoes pretty much any of their games I will buy them

Rogue Squadron. They used the original star wars scores for that game, and you could attack TIE fighters while 'Into the Trap' was playing. Talk about the realization of a dream.

Those games had the best sound and atmosphere of pretty much any games ever. Makes Dark Souls look pathetic. If those were done well I'd buy em.

That franchise deserved a far better fate.

I've always wanted a true Super Mario RPG sequel. No Paper Mario or Mario & Luigi stuff.

Some of the old Ninja Turtle games put into HD, maybe a few new movesets.
Thinking of the second turtle game, manhattan project (one of my fav NES games) and turtles in time.
EDIT: forgot that Turtles in Time had a reboot.

tecmo superbowl was the most groundbreaking sports game on the NES and by FAR. I don't remember how they did it, but it had the correct rosters of all NFL teams circa 1992 (or whenever it was out), you could play entire seasons, and it managed to have memory where you could save your season, and have all stats like league leaders in all important categories as well as team ranks for offense and defense. Each team had different playbooks (ie. i remember the redskins would have tons of pre-snap motion). It truly revolutionized sports games in my opinion.
