Default Nimble Storage - Any experience, feedback?

So I had my first meet & greet with Nimble Storage this past week. You know, the typical sit down, tell them about my environment, listen to what their product is all about, and then schedule a follow-up meeting to see a demo. Overall, good meeting, nice people, seems like a good product.

What I'd like to know, is there anyone who's considered the product or has the product implemented. It seems like a pretty new approach to storage, but none of my colleagues/friends in the industry know much about them.

Here's the website: http://www.nimblestorage.com/

Any info is much appreciated.

They have been pitching us for close to a year now as well. It's cool technology, but hard for most companies to justify the cost. Most apps or databases work really well on traditional storage, and while 150k IOPS sounds cool, I'm not entirely sure it will make a real-world difference. I suppose it comes down to the types of workloads you put on it.

And how you want to scale...
