Reinhart, then Bennett, then Virtanen (love his style of play and I think he's a Burke player so that's why I put him higher up), then Dal Colle, then Draisaitl would be my preferred order if those are out options.

Reinhart, then Bennett, then if neither of them are available either trade down or trade the pick for a young player/prospect further along as I don't see anything special in the other players mentioned. Ideally at the deadline Burke will pick up enough assets to be able to trade up to get Ekblad. Either way for me it is one of the top 3 or trade the pick.

I think we'll have the best chance at Bennett. Reinhart will be the first forward to go, and Ekblad won't make it past the first two picks. And I see at least 2 teams being below us.
Bennett is better than DC or Draisaitl I would say. But if it comes to it, I'm higher on Dal Colle than Draisaitl. The German kid has underwhelmed me in every viewing. Seems very off and on. Dal Colle looks to be more dynamic offensively, has an excellent shot, and could develop into a good power forward.

sadly, with Jay Feaster not in charge anymore, the fantastic Skyler Skidmark is no longer an option
in all seriousness, to me it's Reinhart, then Bennett, then Draisaitl, then Dal Colle. Don't really care about anybody else, it's going to be one of those four, I'm sure.

Weird, I sent out a tweet asking the exact question a few days ago. I got zero responses though - I suck. I would go:
Bennett
Reinhart
Draisaitl
Virtanen
Dal Colle

My orders probably
Reinhart/Bennett (I don't really care)
...
Dal Colle
Virtanen
...
...
...
...
...
Draisaitl
I'd hope the Oilers somehow end up with Draisaitl because I think he has the greatest bust potential

Reinhart would be my first choice as a forward.

1.Ekblad
2.Ekblad
3.Ekblad
4.Ekblad
5.Ekblad
Hmmm, seems I missed the point. Okay, under the guise that the beardy one is taken I would go like this:
1.Bennett
2.Draisaitl
3.Reinahart
4.Dal Colle
5.Goldobin/Fleury/McKeown
The #5 preference would be mean I wouldn't really care after all those other guys were taken. But would be happy if the Flames managed to nab another first to get a crack at those in the #5 spot.

Bust? I have googled him and found that he has two cups, but otherwise can find no meaningful stats. Can you provide details? I am interested in his size

Why Draisaitl over Dal Colle? I really don't understand that.

Depends where we're picking. Guys like Ritchie, Perlini and Fleury may all be in consideration as well.
So far I don't have a strong preference between Dal Colle, Draisaitl, Ritchie, Perlini, Fleury or Virtanen if we're outside the top 3. Once I get the scouting services I'm sure I'll become a bit more opinionated on them.

Centre over winger. My ideal choices would match C4L's list too for the first 5 too. I like what I've seen from Goldobin, but it hasn't been much. And definitely not enough to really solidify an opinion. With a second first round pick later in the round, he might be worth a shot. I was big on Zykov last year too though.

I hope so. I've only gotten to see Fleury play a couple times this year but every time I walk away extremely impressed.
Reinhart is a step above all the other forwards for sure. Haven't seen Bennett play so I can't say anything. I thought Dal Colle played pretty good in the prospects game. I like Virtanen's game a lot but that might be because I tend to watch a bunch of Hitmen games.
Reinhart
Dal Colle
Virtanen
Draisaitl
Bennett probably put between Reinhart and Dal Colle or Dal Colle and Virtanen, but I'd have to see him play first.

I like the look of Fleury... A lot. If we end up slipping out of the bottom 5 or 6 picks he would be an excellent pick.

I heard it's the Bust twins, ya. Burke is trading up to 2nd while hanging on to 3rd so he can pick both.
