Cammalleri suffering from a concussion
Calgary Flames @NHLFlames
.@MCammalleri13 has suffered a concussion and did not travel with the team. He will go through regular concussion protocol.

Likeliest incident is when he got boarded before his cross checking penalty didn't see him take any headshots after that one.

Yup. Getting plowed into the boards, pretty much from behind may do that.

Ya i got nailed like that once and i couldn't even stand up for awhile after dangerous hit no matter how light it is should be an automatic penalty and review just like headshots.

I was listening to the radio after the game as I drove home, and I thought they asked him about that hit and penalty and he said he couldn't remember what they were asking. When they refreshed his memory he gave an answer that I didn't think was related to the question. I was thinking that maybe I was so sleep deprived or had a concussion that I wasn't coherently listening to the radio. I guess it was Cammalleri afterall.

Hope it's just a minor one. I realize he's not long for this organization but I like Mike Cammalleri and hope nothing for the best for him going forward.

Maybe when he gets back from this he will get his scoring touch back. I am looking forward for Street playing tonight, but I'd rather it be him taking Westgarth's spot rather than Cammy's.

Wishing him a speedy recovery.
That having been said, I always felt that his trade value at the deadline was being over-estimated by folks on this board. This should further temper those expectations.
If he heals up, I expect the Flames to recoup something similar to the return Dallas got on Derek Roy last season.
