Almost looks like a bit of a delay after the hit and him falling down. That said, he hasn't come back to the game so hopefully he isn't hurt too bad

Considering he hasn't come back to the game it seems unlikely he was faking anything. Doesn't really make sense for the Canucks to have him sit out to try and sell him being injured.
As for the hit, it wasn't a good hit and deserved a penalty but no suspension.

seemed to me like he was faking being unconscious. I'm not saying it didn't hurt, I'm just questioning why he went limp on the ice when he wasn't really unconscious.
definitely no suspension in my opinion. Principle point of contact isn't the head, it's not from behind ... bit of a charge maybe, but 5 min and a game was already pretty harsh if you ask me.
Hard to say. It didn't look like much to me, and it was CLEARLY embellished, but maybe 1-3 games? I can't imagine it getting anywhere over 3, that'd be a bit ridiculous.
Yeah, I don't doubt he was injured, but there was something totally off about that reaction. It's like he got two different fake injuries mixed up by accident.
On one hand, he looked rocked, but the way he fell to his knees was what you would see in WWE, then he fell forward and looked out cold, but then repositioned his arms immediately after. Then laid "unconscious" for another few seconds. Then kind of got up and skated away.
Any time I've seen players knocked out the way he appeared to be, they will be completely dazed and almost completely held up by teammates to the room.
Just a completely odd injury on his part. But again, he obviously wasn't faking the fact that he had some kind of injury, he definitely got him bad. Just a weird reaction, that's all. I'm assuming 3 games.
No elbow. *Could* be a high hit, but I can't really tell from that angle. Big Erns arms come up but it doesn't look like they make contact, or make much contact, with Alberts head. It appears the force and directionality of the hit whips Alberts head into the glass, knocking him out.
Big hit, and clean, with no embellishment. I understand the 5 minute major, the game misconduct was too much, and any supplementary discipline is too much.

It's just you and homer glasses. INTENTIONALLY HIGH HIT IS INTENTIONALLY HIGH HIT. He go five and a game and that's probably it. Quit whining.
Wait a minute. Just watch this reaction a few times. He totally faked the knock out!!
Watch the knee drop, the snow angel with his arms after being "knocked out". The way he puts his head in the ice carefully, so he doesn't break his nose as he hits the ice, again while "knocked out". Players who get knocked out don't hesitate and then SLAM to the ice like he did, they just collapse and hit the ice.
He's not faking that there's any injury, as he obviously left and didn't come back but that "knock out" simply did not happen. Way too obvious.
